they do play together with your positive prompt, but if you're (positive) prompting somehow contradictory things, no amount of ((negative prompting)) will change the AI's mind.
t. regularly tries to make (((center opening))) with other shit in the prompt that technically couldn't have a center opening...
also I've noticed some models "pay better attention" to your negative prompts. e.g. if you're prompting ecchi shit and trying to negative (((nipples))) something with full gape mixed into it, change fucking models or prompt less lewd lmao
