Opinions on this style for making Ina pixel art? I decided to forgo thick outlines for the most part because ultimately the softer outlines make it easier to make specific pixels "pop", which imo makes it easier to imply shapes and depth (which is critical given the limitations I'm working with).
I also decided to go for a more chibi look, since it's just easier to work with in regards to drawing additional frames for animation, as well as giving more face space which allows for greater expression. I might mess with the length of her arms a bit since they feel a little long to me, but I don't want them to be too short either.
Tried to take inspiration from Ina's chibi art (specifically the style she utilized in things like her unfinished animation she posted recently), but I took a few liberties here and there.
I know the wings are missing, this is still a work in progress of course.
