Nature anon here. I have been gifted the rare opportunity to talk about albinism in tempanimals as I spotted this albino Gavin rattlesnake. Albinism in tempanimals does not completely remove colors rather turns them a softer pastel version of themself. it also has no effect on the face and eyes as such it use to be believed that albino tempanimals could not happen individuals such as this gavin rattlesnake were called pastels it wasn't until a test was run on pastel catvis did we learn that the pastel gene was actually albinism. Unlike albinos in other species albino tempanimals do just as well as their normal counterparts in the wild. Interesting albino tempanimals tend to behave nocturnally or crepuscularly even if it is not the standard for their species we believe that they adapted this behavior to negate the the fact that they are more sensitive to sunlight.
