Login incentives make me want to murder every developer involved because they turn the game into a "responsibility". Every game with a non-trivial login incentive just has me eventually ragequit because I keep booting it up when I'm not in the mood to do missions or activities I don't want to do so I can grind a resource the game encourages or requires you to get.

I'm currently angry at myself because I got into RDR Online and did my dailies for a month.
Fuck Dailies, fuck that stupid sunk cost fallacy mechanic designed to "incentivize" players by turning the game into a job. I'm just glad they nerfed the daily streak to reset every month, so I was able to give myself an out.
The game is reasonably fun but this shit kills MMOs for me.
