I can kinda see this happening. In a way. Maybe with Jenma's help/assistance.

The way Kiara just casually mentioned/joked about forming a company last night seemed like it was something they talked about (maybe not seriously but it was a talking point). And the way she also said something along the lines of "a couple of girls and a makeshift studio..." seemed to imply it at least entered their minds that they were doing things that management couldn't/wouldn/t do so they just went ILL DO IT MYSELF.

And maybe that gave them some leverage. Considering it's July, they debuted in September but probably were under contract for a few months at least by then, they probably just had renegotiations/are having them.
