Considering that it will more than likely be an au. It might be worth it to kick up the tech level and just do a World War 1 AU with certain gaps in tech depending on region and culture to make things more interesting, certain nations might have developed tanks but are still using wooden ships, other nations are slow to adopt fully automatic weaponry but have artillery precise enough to clip a fly's wings off. It actually got me thinking as to what /meat/ would even look like if their tech level was increased.
