We're not talking about wildly off topic, we're talking about tangentially related like what fast food would you like to order in your dream car. And even if we think that isn't allowed, mod can but not always just move threads to their appropriate discussion board. They will leave it up to the jannies who will either use deletion of posts/the thread or warn you to go to the other boards to do most of the actual enforcemeent. And most of the examples here are from 2021 when ignorance was more excused.
