Nothing is stopping them from watching someone else and also these are donations. If she doesn't show up, that just means they can take their money elsewhere or save up for her next stream. Cover is not being harmed in anyway and in fact her rareness makes it so her merch sells a shitload so technically she should continue this behavior as it helps more than harms.

The most blatant lie I've ever heard of as staff and talents have nothing but praise for Ayame and how much she does. This includes YAGOO and higher ups as well. You are someone who started watching Hololive when HoloEN made their debut because you just ousted yourself as the biggest Holonewfag on the planet. Ayame was a member of Gen 2 meaning she's been a talent for over 3 years now. 2 years of that was spent streaming and building up her image and fanbase. If you ever wonder why Sana who momentarily had the same kind of problems with streaming doesn't have the loyal/rabid fanbase of Ayame it's because Sana hasn't even made it to one year of Hololive yet.
