The Candy Kingdom has had a kind of foreign exchange program sort of going on for a while now but this is the official entry for it. I can see hag mercs being employed for protecting the lusquires during the sea travels but I kinda like the idea of Crusader Foreignaitos and hag mercenaries fighting together against /ouh/ a bit more.

It really depends on the luknight, its generally something like capturing the heads of 30 pirates or slaying a troll, or things like recovering the body of a fallen ally for burial or even something vauge like bringing the glory of the himedom across the sea. The idea is that something happened that sticks to the foreignaito that they don't feel right returning to the Candy Kingdom without vindicating or fixing, their personal honor code can't allow them to return home.

There's a little repetition in word choice and a few minor grammar stuff but your battle prose is fantastic, it's got a great sense of direction that leads each sentence into the next that makes the battle sequences read with the same energy they're described in. I think we'd do it on a case by case basis but we do have a general framework for understanding royal succession. For example The Royal House of Bluebear would still experience a succession if the head died, the firstborn or the child of his choice would then take his place and the deceased luknight's honor guard would ride with them
