Its probably bait but there's fucking decades of games to play. Anything to keep things varied other than another week being padded out by Valorant/APEX/Mineycrafta as the main offenders.
Hell we don't even need a new wave for that, Mysta today played Rhythm Heaven and messed around making Miis on the Wii and he's playing Raving Rabbids tomorrow. Alban played a bit of Doom 1 last night, Rosemi played DMC3, and Maria at least still plays Story of Seasons/farman games since she likes it. Its not that they cant play Valo/APEX/League/Minecraft ever again but it'd be nice for them to explore and try to change things up.

It's a mix of permissions, and NijiEN members probably not having the appropriate hardware. To play SNES games, they'd probably have to have downloaded games for it when the Wii Shop Channel for it was active, download games for it while they still can on Wii U eShop, play what little games are available for Switch Online, hope the devs are like Capcom/Konami and put out compilations, or the least likely option when dealing with zoomers, which is the actually own the console itself.
Even then, tracking down games for these older consoles isn't easy or cheap anymore, and to stream SNES games they'd either have to have a cheap (insert console here) to HDMI cable and hope the image isn't too dark/shit, or grab an upscaler and hope that the cheaper ones play nice with their capture card.
