Damned straight it is. I typically make my gravy by doing the standard sausage, flour and pepper mix but I like splashing about a tablespoon of worcestshire(?) sauce into the mix. I used to do a pinch paprika at the end but frankly it didn't make that much of a difference until I added cayenne though I think I overdid it slightly in that pic.

Like others have said, it's really easy to make but unless you're *really* good at making them there's not too much of a difference from just using a can like >>52051387 recommends.

If you have to cook for the rest of your family, use less sausage and add bacon fat to your flour mixture and it should be pretty good. Give it a shot!

Thanks, I always feel guilty about making too much because I live with my younger brother and one roommate but because we have wildly different schedules I tend to make a lot of leftovers and unfortunately re-heated biscuits and gravy tastes depressing in comparison.
