I know how that feels... I think you should just start posting/showing things to other people. I know that it's scary, but it's worth it in the end. You never know what's good for another person, and your own stuff always feels like crap, but in the end of the day, you never know how your output will affect other people and how it's seen from the outsider's perspective. Because when you try to evaluate what you've done you're also taking into account all of your references and expectations - and it's really hard to compete with what you referenced thus, probably, already liked enough to reference. I've personally never wrote fanfiction seriously before /NijiEN/ board (I mostly draw and write music), but hey... No one will judge you here, I think. And some people might really like what you've wrote. So please start creating and sharing. It's really fun!

Yeah, and for a beginner in novel-writing like me. So I'll definitely return to this idea after some shorter stories.
