Yes, and that is the issue. I really think you don't get it. Asking a question here and getting the answer to a question is legitimate if you want to know about something, yes. But if you don't know about it, maybe you shouldn't be trying to act like you should be the one teaching others about it on twitter. If you insist on doing this for things you don't actually understand, then at least use the information you get here correctly instead of ignoring it and posting just factually wrong or misleading information instead. Using the information you get here is not what the issue, it's breaking containment and drawing attention to this place by posting a screenshot that almost everyone would instantly recognize as 4chan. I'd rather you just steal/copy what I said instead if you must. I hate to admit it, but Des P. was probably right, I don't think you are properly qualified to do this, and I think you know it too. I'm not telling you to stop doing it, it definitely does some good for some EOPs, but at least pick your battles and only translate stuff that you are actually certain about; I've been seeing a lot of misses, omissions and uncertainty in your translations. You admitted yourself you didn't understand what the alligator meant or what it is called before I told you in this thread, so maybe you shouldn't be posting as an authority about that particular topic a few minutes later on twitter. There's nothing wrong with trying to improve your translations and trying to inform people, but spreading actual misinformation is always bad. In this instance, it didn't really matter because it is just a stupid crocodile joke, but it's a sign that you still post your interpretation of things that you aren't sure about or have been told the correct answer to. Ideally, you'd just skip that particular tweet or consult someone else to check your translation before posting. I wouldn't want you to post a wrong interpretation of something more serious that ends up doing more harm than good by making FBK look bad. Even Des P. has done this a couple of times by translating stuff very awkwardly without much subtlety ("If you throw more red super chats, Kuro might come out." and "In 2022 I want to do a lot of sponsored streams!" come to mind). Sorry that got long, I'm genuinely trying to help you, I don't hate you or spics, but it's just really annoying to me to see posts like this >>16487301 that imply you're a source to be cited when what you posted was actually wrong. That's exactly how misinformation spreads.
