Agree with both of you. I hate this idea that we need to have faith in management and anyone who joins Nijisanji is automatically a good hire. It reminds me of the holofag mentality, and it leads to complacency and tribalfaggotry.

Iluna are a failed wave of failed Youtubers who failed to find a niche or develop a fanbase. They had the best models of any wave handed to them on a silver platter. They had the best debut song by far besides DCL. They had 60-90k viewers for their debut streams, eclipsing any previous wave and having 10x more exposure and attention than Lazulight or Obsydia had to work with when they debuted. They had what were probably tens of thousands of applicants to filter through and yet with all these innate advantages they completely failed to have any kind of impact. The only one that's at all salvageable is Kyo because he seems to love being here and really did his homework to fit in with his senpais.

I'd rather they hire actual 2views and give them a chance instead of letting Phase and Kawaii and Prism take all the streamers with potential and let them stagnate in irrelevancy. Imagine if they had this numberfag mentality in the first auditions, Rosemi would still be in Tsunderia streaming to 20 people and we would've missed out on all her creativity kino and cute interactions with her friends in Niji. Even if those 2views flop they'd still be doing better than they were before and be more motivated to work hard. Meanwhile I'm fairly sure half of Iluna are planning to graduate the moment their 1 yr contract runs out because they didn't get Luxiem numbers.
