> Do y'all have any streaming habits you recommend though? - Shu
> Go to bed on time - Ike
> For me recently, I have actually managed to get a pretty good sleep schedule going. - Vox
> The biggest thing I would recommend though? - Vox
> When you make a schedule, really think about whether the stream you're putting down is something you actually want to do. - Vox
> Because so many times I'll make a schedule like "this'll be good x3" and then go to sleep. - Vox
> And then it'll get to that point in the week and I'll look at the stream I put on there, and I'm like "God I REALLY DON'T want to do that". - Vox
> The biggest streaming habit that I could possibly recommend is to go as many steps as you possibly can to make sure that you're protecting your own happiness - Vox
> Literally if you're happy that's the main thing, because you will work so much harder and you'll make so much better streams if you're energized and having a good time, y'know? - Vox
> There's such a big culture in streaming to work yourself half to death, I'm guilty of this a lot of us are guilty of this, but.. - Vox
> Shu is really good at this, you've always gone at a pace that suited you and you've always been doing so well. - Vox
> Whereas for me I go in bursts, 2 streams a day every day for 3 weeks and then I don't stream for a month. - Vox
> I need to stop that. - Vox
> I guess one habit I got is that if I have a day off, then it's a day off. - Shu
> I need to start following that. - Ike

> In elementary school I was doing a lot better, a part of that was because I didn't have any homework assigned over the weekend. - Shu
> So when it was the weekend, I had those days off. - Shu
> I forgot when exactly, but the moment I started getting homework assignments over the weekend.. - Shu
> I think that was my breaking point of how I started doing more poorly academically. - Shu
> Because of the break being taken over by the mind that haunts you, that you have an assignment due on Monday.. - Shu
> How that just haunts you, was enough for me to get not physically tired, but mentally tired. - Shu
This dude unironically got mindbroken by middle school homework lmao.

Looking at their attitude to streaming as "work" I can understand why Cover scouts filter their recruits for "passion" first and foremost.
For people like Fuwamoco or Pekora, streaming is something they do for FUN, it's entertaining to both them and the audience, and that builds a much more healthy dynamic than someone doing it one way - just entertaining the audience for pay without getting any joy or entertainment for themselves from just the act of streaming.
Kaela is also a weird case where she streams to "relax" somehow.

It's no surprise that these fools broke down not even a year into their careers, they never liked doing their "job" in the first place.
And unlike most regular jobs, streaming is an entertainment job.. you can't do it long-term without at least a little bit of love to the act of streaming/entertaining your audience itself.
