I am actually in disbelief as to how one person could actually be this completely fucking braindead, ESL or no
https://www.3watches.com/what-is-the-difference-between-oem-watches-and-odm-watches/
>Why the fuck would you use the economic acronym when speaking about watches?
It's not an "economic" acronym, you inbred fucking subhuman mouthbreather. It's a term that is used in reference to industrial MANUFACTURING.
Let's go over the basics: you see, anon, watches are manufactured products - mass-manufactured, unless you're talking about some bougie watch hand-crafted by Swiss artisans or something. OEM is used specifically in reference to the former, not to the latter.
When an OEM vendor designs "custom" parts for their clients, the customer the OEM is predominantly selling them to is a COMPANY who then goes on to sell the products produced under their IP as a retailer, using the components built to their customized specs as - get this - GENERIC parts, for that MODEL of PRODUCT.
This is in exactly the same way that it works in any other industry, where OEM vendors design and sell parts which are used in the designs of mass-manufactured products. Those customized *designs* are then used to create generic, standardized parts through mass-production and - ultimately - for use in a particular product line.
*Individual* OEM watches are not "custom" - the design is. The *design* is created from scratch, not the actual watches that are assembled, modularly, from those OEM parts. And the customers they do this custom design work for, are particular RETAILERS and not individual end-consumers.
>Were you not aware that watches used the exact same acronym?
Standing for the exact same term, as you yourself specify >>72352169
And, surprise surprise - it has the exact same fucking meaning that it has literally everywhere else
Oh, but clearly watches are special and stand out from literally every other category of product in this way, right? They are SO special, in fact, that their industry professionals would go out of their way to use a ubiquitous manufacturing term to have EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE MEANING, isn't that right schizochama? "Ambiguity" has absolutely no limits I guess! Surely it can't be that you need to take your fucking medications and do some actual research to figure out basic information about a topic you're pretending to care about
There, is that "specific" enough for you, you well-qualified suicide candidate shithead?
