Yeah you don't need to force yourself over to XL it does have it's downsides in that prompting 2 characters is more time consuming and lack of control net, I've been skipping those requests when I could have done them on 1.5.
But if you plan to keep prompting, more support is being directed to XL models slowly but surely.

Wouldn't genning on forge make the times about the same? I didn't notice a big difference.
