Maybe I'm just being autistic, but why is it hard to sing in Japanese?
You're not gonna understand shit obviously, but it's not that difficult to follow the rhythm and read the lyrics if they're spelled out for you. It doesn't make a difference what language you're singing when learning the tone/inflection of the song, especially if you have some sort of prior musical experience. For example, the "Song of the Ancients" from Nier is gibberish chaos language, but excellent covers exist (even in Hololive). Anyone who has ever sung along to an anime op also know the feeling.
