Because 1. they are pretty much told to tone it down if it goes too hard and 2. they dont HAVE to rely on peepeepoopoosex jokes or swearing to make them entertatining.

Vshojo comes off as the funko pop collectors vtuber, the Marvel fans vtubers, the people who will say everything in "x" franchise is perfect and you arent a real fan if you dont like it. Yes you can make an argument that Hololive is that but worse due to its corporate nature, but all of the girls in hololive still feel unique, they feel like they still have things to offer outside of being idols.

Even if you dont like one or the other, they still feel like different people who dont use crutches, they feel like they actually want to do this job. They want to entertain people, sure the money is a good catch too, but I dont think I've ever felt like Gura or Ina or Ame are doing it soley for the money.

VShojo just feels like they cash grabbed, they arent genuine, they arent for lack of a better phrase, likeable to anyone above the mental age of 17. In the worst way possible, Vshojo is the reddit.
