Fubuki's defeated so many evil samurai warriors and spirits even though she constantly eats dirt because Sekiro's a lot harder than it looks. If she didn't have the determination of the hardiest fox, as well as her half-elf cheering her on in the back, there's no way Fubuki could withstand the embarrassment of being slapped across the tail in such a rapid fashion.
