It was probably just more memorable to people. A lot of DaS difficulty was either an illusion of being in danger or claustrophobic encounter design, so the things players struggled with are vastly different from person to person. Kanata breezed through some things I struggled with the first time but then got annihilated on something I didn't even notice. In retrospect that also made it really fun to watch. That, and the incredible bullshit DaKuso kept pulling on her.
