most /vt/ posters are genuine election tourists who don't watch any vtubers, only use it as meme flags to shitpost with, watch this, back when vtubers were part of /jp/, a board that should have some of the lowest /pol/ overlap, election still dropped daily post count from ~55k to 39k at the lowest point, it's almost perfectly symmetrical at and near the election spike, one goes up, other down, if you were in the thread you could really feel the sudden lack of shitposts and vastly decreased speed, if not for the other non vtuber threads it would be even more visible, will probably happen next time and be even more blatant now that there's /vt/
