he summarized it perfectly himself in shotos stream this morning about how he sees his parasocial love for his fans as a sacred thing that he genuinely adores doing. he knows it's pretty weird and can see the nuance and toll it takes on his psyche but he does it anyway because the fulfillment it brings him is far more rewarding than what any anti could ever say about him.
