The trolley problem is fucking stupid because fucking nobody has actually done their research and read Jeremy Bentham or done the bare minimum to understand what the point of utilitarian thinking is. It's not about "LOL would you eat two apples or three pancakes!?!?!?" or "What if you had to kill a billion people but they were all literal whos????" it has to deal with societal implications you fucking idiots. The answer to the trolley problem is an impersonal one because you have to think about how society is going to change dependent on who gets killed. Would society care if you switched the lever and ran over your precious oshi to save the Supreme Court? That's what I thought.
