They are both textual inversions and can be .pt files. Embeddings are generally the smallest, >30kb Hypernetworks are 80mb, and Dreambooth gives .ckpt models that are 2GB

Embeddings can also be shared as image embeddings in .png format, those images with the weird border and shit and are the safest method of sharing them.
Any .pt file or .ckpt model file can execute code and could potentially be malicious. Thats where the whole pickle thing is from.
