I think Spotify counts every reproduction. I've been playing Holostars songs in repeat for hours and muting it with the volume mixer., It's important not to mute Spotify though.
It's the same on Android but you can't mute your phone so I just plug headphones in and let it play it while I sleep.

Actually I got the idea after seeing how they manipulate the algorithm to boost their oshi's numbers so that'll be great.

Thanks for your replies anons. I think I'm experiencing burnout from schoolwork and it makes doing anything feels like a chore, even if it's something fun like catching a live stream. My summer break is coming soon so hopefully I will have the free time to watch them again. I'm also trying to save up money to hopefully be able to catch another live concert of theirs if they are organizing a second one.
