A fic that has been on ice for over a year. My original intent was to do entries of this series between waiting for interesting prompts. Ironically, this got put on ice as I started writing a different short series and I never got back around to it. Ultimately I decided to post this to the rumble as a way to get feedback as I feel that this is contained enough to stand alone if need be. This is like, maybe the second or third thing I have ever written for here, although I have gone and brushed it up. So it might get a remaster or sorts in the far future.
For transparency's sake, I should say that the situation has not changed. I want to do this series, but, I now have a glut of prompts I want to do. So consider this a pilot of sorts.
