>I think they should go for the volume approach, but do it in a separate branch. And then use that ecosystem as a training/recruitment grounds for the main branch.
>That's just my idea though.
As mentioned yesterday, it is a dumb idea and essentially
>Hololive, in order to get bigger numbers, should emulate the strategy of their main competitor which is getting LOWER numbers with it

>to make Niji substantially larger than HoloEN in watchtime.
I'll just assume you are on a very bad internet connection and posting from 2022 or something because not only Hololive is ahead of Nijisanji in the aggregate but the japanese branch is ahead of Niji's japanese branch and the english branch is more than DOUBLE the Niji english branch.
>pic related

Here are the numbers for their hours watched in Q1 2024 (Jan to Mar)

Japanese branches
>68,356,423: Hololive (35 channels)
>63,390,844: Nijisanji (147 channels)

EN branches
>15,957,779: HoloEN (15 channels)
>6,398,110: NijiEN (34 channels)

As mentioned above, even in the STRICTlY CUMULATIVE METRICS (those in which each channel ADDS UP to it no matter how small the amount) Hololive is crushing Nijisanji in both sides of the kaigai pond
