She's talked about it in more detail and even mentioned she wants to show pictures of them but doesn't want to accidentally show some obscure mushroom that only grows in one area and dox herself.
All signs point to it just being an actual thing she does instead of a bit or a kayfabe cover of something else. (Or just a lie, but it'd be a weird enough thing to make up that I can't even imagine that).
(She also DID post pictures of some oysters once that I assume she also gathered herself)
