Problem is you need one company to go schizo for Youtube to bring the spiked dildo. Which for a normal artist is ok, because they can just take it down, but for a company it's a bit more tricky.
Japanese politicians are now trying to force cosplayers to pay royalties to the companies they are using characters from, if they make money. We'll see what happens.
