You can do much better than that anon. Notice how the pixels aren't "actually" pixels, they move around and rotate in ways that aren't aligned to the pixel grid.

The best way would be to render a normal model with a shader downscaling it in post, like me . Then it'd look really retro. If you're cool, you can even do dithering in the shader for that PC-98 look.
