Glasses are really versatile. First, you can have glasses-wearing girls take them off and suddenly become beautiful, or have girls wearing glasses flashing those cute grins, or have girls stealing the protagonist's glasses and putting them on like, "Haha, got your glasses!" This kind of shit is exactly why I believe that Cover allowing clips to be monetized is an absolutely terrible idea.
We're now in a situation where A LOT of clippers aren't doing this because they love their oshi / Hololive or because they want to share good things about them around the world, but instead because they want as many views as possible for this sweet advertisement and membership money.
And even worse, they're all competing with each other now, which mean more aggresive clickbaiting on titles, thumbnails, and all kind of faggotry all over the place.
There are still some good clippers and translators though, like that one who's actually animating and translating everything himself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xkI-GS1MHM , or even some dedicated translators like lyger, Des P., etc... good clippers are getting incredibly rare nowadays, and it's a shame.
