My voice is too shit, and I'm too uninteresting to warrant streaming. I also prefer playing games in silence, on my own. The only way I'd do so is to build a following I could then carry a fraction over to my original stuff, like video games. But even before all of that I'd need to do shit like get an ultrawide monitor, so I could stream and have my avatar, and chat, off to the sides, while still letting people see the whole 16:9 game. It's doable though, and because I might do so in the future to begin with, if I'm entertaining enough to garner an audience without all the bells and whistles, then I'm willing to invest in doing so. But only if people find me entertaining, playing games on my own is more fun, so somebody else would have to be getting something out of it, for me to want to

The stuff I'm talking about with the emotion mask is in a similar vein. Maybe have it by default be a flat horizontal line across the mask, changing to a generic jagged pulse line if I'm talking that changes size in response, and changes to different shapes or oldschool emoticons like o_o and -_- if I hit button combos. Really anything that would convey my emotions, without having a direct face.
