Not that artist, but hips are one of the hardest things to learn to draw, so don't feel bad about it. Problem is real women look nothing like what you might call an anime ideal. The more athletic they are the more confusing it gets. Even worse even learning the bony/muscular anatomy isn't enough, a lot of it is down to fat distribution and everyone has their own idea of what looks good.

Anatomy for sculptors and manga materials are good places to start for anatomy. Do some studies of fit girls and you will quickly start to learn what landmarks are important. Then study some artists you like to see how they stylize it.

I actually feel like this isn't a good reference. It's super low contrast so it's hard to see the contours, and it looks a bit shopped. The curves are also very subtle especially given the soft lighting. I wouldn't want my characters to look like pic attached, but it's much easier to understand what's going on with someone fit, kinda ripped, with lighting and skin prep to make her muscles more obvious. You have to understand what's going on before you can simplify convincingly. Otherwise things just look blobby and you can't tell why
