Hey, champs. Food champ here. tonight I made a succulent chinese meal for dinner. I fried some veggies in a big wok (carrots, onion, and snow peas) while the rice was getting ready. And on the side, I fired some chicken with a reduced oyster-chilly sauce with lemon juice and a little bit of brown sugar. combined the rice and veg, plated with the chicken on top, and done. I know It might sound like the flavors would clash with the sweet sugar mixed with the tangy oyster sauce and bitter lemon juice, but I was loosely following an online recipe and it turned out better than expected. It literally tasted like the lemon chicken I would pay 15 dollarydoos for at my local chinese place (it is a good chinese place btw).
