Hey opossums aren't useless! They're awesome! For example, they're immune to most diseases. Rabies can't survive in them, because their body temperature is lower, which also makes them more energy efficient. They're also immune to a variety of toxins, poisons and venoms, even botulism. That would make opossum people really adaptable and good at surviving, and they could use poisons in their activities with little risk to themselves.
Also, Liora mentioned that there's Liorium in the Palkies as well, so maybe you could interpret that to mean there's some Liora-type chuubanite in their body.

If you haven't, try playing with the --quality tags and such, or use image URLs in the prompt, it can really change the outcome of the generation. Running into the trial limit is my issue too, I'm half tempted to buy one of the subs.
