lol this attempt to sew a yab is funny, but it's infinitely more likely this scenario is because she's refusing to do anything outside of contractual obligations for a company she's basically done working for because they didn't shut down the rest of her gen from bullying her. probably for not streaming with boys, her refusal to do this meant they couldn't present a united front to their fans on accepting boys and looked individually guilty if they made that decision. She put them in a difficult but honest place and they childishly hated her for it, believing they really could have their cake and eat it to, even though it doesn't work that way and we would know everything about them anyway.

The topic itself isn't a bad thing. But the general is less about discussion growth between vtubers and more about shitting on whatever the hivemind's target of the day is, followed by that target's general getting raided by them.
