Alternatively turn it way down, like 15-20, and then turn denoise strength up a bit. After watching those webms I made yesterday, I finally understand what denoising strength on fucking hi-res fix does - how much extra noise it throws ON TOP OF the results of whatever upscaler you have selected, and then denoises for however many steps you tell it to
