it's so weird to think that gura's become the most subscribed to vtuber ever. i remember when i only knew her for funny memes and saw that she got a 3D model and my thought was: "oh, she's jumping onto the vtuber fad? lol" her 3D and tracking software wasn't anywhere near kizuna AI's so i thought it was a weak attempt. gura really was handed some of her success by cover, but they sabotaged her with a shitty live2D and all she gets to do is play video games and make glorified podcasts, so i can see why she'd feel the impostor syndrome. she's cute, clever, and entertaining in her own right but she still has much to do and some big shoes to fill. she's been thrust upon this huge throne and the people who put her there don't even know anything about vtubing. i hope she collabs with the pink cat, no i don't mean nyanners, nekomiya hinata and kizuna AI herself. maybe someday.
