I’ve said this once and I’ll say it how many times is needed: FuwaMoco is nothing but a horribly cheap, failed attempt at replicating Korone/OkaKoro’s success.
But what the people of Cover don’t understand is that you can’t replace something that’s irreplaceable. Trying to replace Korone is like trying to replace an universally recognised all-time greatest in any sport. She’s the Michael Jordan/Babe Ruth/Wayne Gretzky/Tom Brady of VTubers.
The saddest part is that people are actually falling for it, just because they are EN and not JP. Nowadays, it feels more and more like EOPs determine if a chuuba is good or not by their ability to speak English, nearly completely disregarding them lacking in pretty much every other department. The “““painful””” reality is that FuwaMoco aren’t at all good chuubas just because their whole shtick is “le chaotic doggo twin soulmates”, no matter how hard they try to “improve” upon it.
This begs the question: what happened to the classic EOP, the EOP who only needs cute noises and the occasional poorly-worded English phrases to be entertained?
