first thing i want to say is that your mic is perfect right now so there arent any issues. i just wanted to clarify that peaking is when your audio becomes staticky/distorted due to loud noises, where as in your case the audio was cutting out entirely, so there must have been some setting that prevented your mic from picking up loud/high-pitch sounds completely. but like i said, its perfect now so dont even worry about it okaaaaay?
