Yes. You'll find many of the hygiene stereotypes associated with these self-proclaimed otaku. Some would smell as if they didn't shower before coming. Most don't bother using deodorants, despite being sweaty as fuck. You have attention whores grouping up and marching around, obnoxiously singing weeb shit like "padoru padoru" at the top of their lungs. Then you have the autists who hold up signs, saying stuff like "free hugs", creeps who try to cop a feel (if there were cosplayers), and many more.

source: myself, because I used to love doing photography at these events. But damn, the attendees can be as nightmarish as Chaos cultists. Just as stinky, too.
