They're both ruined by their obviously male voices. Femboy/trap characters need to have voices that hit a certain sweet spot where they sound girly but not entirely feminine, kinda like a boyish girl. They definitely can't just sound like men. In anime this is achieved by casting female voice actors, and it works because it's scripted and you know the character in the story is male. But for a vtuber, knowing that it's a woman behind the supposedly male avatar kinda ruins it, like, it's impossible to actually see Tamaki as a boy. So you need an actual guy that can do that sweet spot voice, which is exceedingly rare. Mashiro is the only one I've ever seen which is why he's such a treasure.
