The first solution I tried is pic related. That made it feel much more more reasonable. Still a very spicy perk when paired with Uber Sheep food spawn, and ramps into the run hard, but it no longer breaks the game in half.

I think up next is making the main attack, for real this time. What I have now is mangled and reskinned Ame pistol, and that just wouldn't do.
