This trade deal is a threat to the status quo of the region, and more importantly, poses a direct threat to the Republic, as it stands now, the establishment of a risuner settlement, one that is supported by powers that are known to be involved in aggresive diplomatic affairs and might involve themselves in wars, and might also not have the best interest of the region in mind, is an unacceptable end.
Now, we aren't away from negotiations here, if risuners are more willing to negotiate with the Republic which should be kept in mind already has roadways and connections into the sapling villages, the establishment of a risuner port of inmense expense considering the limited naval and economic capabilities of /risu/ and would decrease the amount of involvement of any other third party.
