I'm applying "the 4chan mindset" to vtubers like all the other hobby boards and I'm going to guess it's less "newfags who don't know anything about vtubers so they branch out from Gura and Korone clips" and it's more the people with the ride-or-die mentality that attach their identity to a brand. Basically seeing vtubing as a console war and they want to be on the side with the bigger numbers so their tastes are "objectively correct." The kind of numberfags who probably don't even like or watch streams just like the /v/tards who spend so much time shitposting in bait threads that they don't even play the games they're talking about.
