I didn't love Myth. Definitely not right off the bat. Same with Council. They were interesting at first but what I really wanted was Hololive but speaking English. Myth and Council turned out to be ethots using anime avatars. Gura may have been the closest to that but she stopped streaming. IRyS was pretty good too but again she's stopped streaming. Ina was always kind of there, Ame and Kronii decided to drop their fans for Tempus, Mori was always a wigger, Bae was always a loud zoomer who couldn't relate to anything, Fauna and Mumei are decent but honestly they are the minimum of what EN should have been.

This was the last time Holo EN was good. Just before Ame stopped doing special streams, before Kronii decided to turn on her fans, before Fauna said she could never be your friend. This was the day the magic died. Nothing since has captured the same amount of joy and wonder and possibility as this offcollab.

This was it. The unarchived karaoke surprise collab was the last time I felt any kind of magic from Hololive EN. This was the last time you still felt like anything could happen and that chemistry kino was strong with EN. After this it was all just Tempus collabs, and spiting and lying to fans, and mediocre "events' on designated "special days" like the Jackbox PNG April Fools stream we had that didn't even last an hour.

People like Mori and Kronii don't give a fuck about Hololive and use it to actively funnel people to their RM accounts. Kronii is talking to her regulars on her RM and they aren't even bothering to use different accounts.

Management being gay means events live or die on the initiative from the girls which means a lot of it falls on LA CREATIVEADAD, which can work for a while, see Halloween, 1 year, Christmas, etc, but ultimately you need corporate resources to take that next step, which is why the 3D showcase after all this time just feels late and underwhelming.

Lack of chemistry means if the introverts are feeling down or out of it, it's up to Mori or Kiara to drive big collabs, which is hard because collabs are a team sport and people will get sick of Kiara and Mori is just a retard in the first place. See most recent collab, the announcement.

The Tempus bullshit was just stupid, alienating a core part of your fans, and even normalfags are wondering why you have 2 Homofag gens while most weeks we struggle to have streams everyday despite there being 10 EN members.

This was the last time I felt any sort of magic from Holo EN, let alone Myth.

This was it. This was the last time HoloEN ever felt truly magical or special. And although there have been "special events" since this, they all feel a little bit hollow, a little bit less special. The Myth off collab, the Myth 3D collab, Council 3D, Sana's graduation, they all lack the soul of previous events somehow.

This was before Ame asked Teamates to improve themselves.
This was before Kronii asked if her fans were losers, then promised them one thing in a member stream only to take a break and immediately about face.
This was before Ina disappeared without a single communication to her fanbase since.

This still had the exciting thrill of some of the best TTRPG collabs, or Christmas, or the 1 year anniversary, or Halloween. It felt unexpected, new, fresh, and most importantly, that the girls enjoyed what they were doing and put effort into it.

This was the day the magic died.
