I never understood "daughter simulator" until I started watching Bijou.
I'm an oji-san who has never wanted kids, but watching Bijou makes me feel like a father.
Nodding along happily to her meme discussions like "yes yes, that's very nice dear" and being proud of her when she reaches a milestone. Feels like watching her at her first school play or something.
Its too late for me to have a child, but maybe this is all I need. A momentary daughter who will disappear one day, as all things do.
