I've been working on a major project in the background of all my WIPs and it's making decent progress. For a while I was wondering if I should even keep working on it and release chapter one, because the sheer size of the story is going to take me ages to finish. Then I thought fuck it, it's the WIP I'm enjoying the most right now so even if it never gets finished I'll keep at it until either this place dies or I lose interest.

Honestly this was probably the hardest part of the story to decide on. I considered making them normal streamers but that would be a little unrealistic for multiple reasons. I also couldn't go into roommate territory, which lead me to settle for the compromise you see.

I'm also glad you guys liked the /vt/ thread at the end. That's going to be something every chapter has because rrats were a part of the original prompt, but also because it's actually going to be somewhat relevant to the story.

It hasn't been great, but honestly as long as I can continue sharing my stories here for people to read that's enough for me. Whenever the thread goes to shit I just close it and focus more on my writing, which has actually helped.

Since it's a bit slow today, here's a topic for discussion:
What does everyone here think about giving (You) a backstory in these fics? Things like making (You) someone who's already known by people such as a famous actor, or giving (You) a really intricate and detailed past?

I personally kinda like it, because while it takes away from the self-insert part, it adds a lot to the story and you can still just imagine said backstory to be yours.
