They are posting the exact same shit on reddit discussions as well. These types will never "contain" themselves, they always push out more and more until they eventually get some pushback - after which they start screeching and harassing those involved.

These small hints that Flygon is apparently doing is more than enough for them to take as "dog whistles". Same as how anons here are treating FWMC as ultra CGDCT idols thanks to their little pledge.
This is indirect communication, all parts of society that both sides know and can deny if ever accused of being open about it.
Flygon will obviously never do this type of shit openly - both his company and everyone else in the fanbase will crucify him for it - and he will likely either deny or be neutral if ever directly asked for support.
But at the same time these little dogwhistles are a big tell about what his thoughts truly are.
And more importantly than anything else, this cancer is a lot bigger than the minuscule community of actual Holostars/Tempus fans - so much so that even their discords have been taken over by these freaks.
I'd argue that making them "feel welcome" was the biggest reason their numbers are down in the dumps - no one in the actual VTubing community wants to involve themselves into Murican political bullshit - hence they simply leave the fandom. Those that are left, will be completely outnumbered and will never be able to get their voices out because of these retards covering the airwaves. I feel like some folks like Bettel are realizing this and OPENLY pushing back in small ways - which explains his relatively bigger fanbase.
This shit is a slow death for any fandom.

This would have been the right call two years ago, but times have changed, and some of the girls have proven that they are not very compatible with the way Hololive works, and will not put in any effort to fit in.

/#/ is naturally more cynical (because we literally cannot ignore the pattern of behavior happening on stream), so anything with a "Holopro" label + being run by Ollie (who has already tried to do a bait and switch with the homos once) automatically becomes suspect and subject to doomposting.

Reality is probably around the middle, with none of the newer holos changing their stance on the homos, and the mixed event just being limited to the usual suspects (Festival, Towa, Kronii, Bae etc.).

...But on the off chance something DOES change, it would simply vindicate our cynical worldview and reinforce the pattern of GRIM.
